TALOS is a polyphenol-rich extra virgin olive oil with a health claim, produced from organically grown olives at one of the first certified regenerative farms in Greece. Its name is inspired by Talos, the mythical bronze guardian of Crete, who, according to myth, was given by Zeus to King Minos to protect the island. Three times a day, he walked along the shores of Crete as its tireless guardian. His mythical home was Gerontospilios, today known as Melidoni Cave, a place associated with the worship of Talos since Minoan times. There, in a place where humans encountered the divine, the need for protection and safety found its symbolic form in an indestructible guardian.

At the Peskesi farm in Charaso, Crete, the production of TALOS begins with the soil. With its fertility and balance, its biodiversity, and the organic, regenerative, and biodynamic farming practices we follow, treating the olive grove as a living ecosystem. That same care follows the fruit throughout its entire journey. From early harvesting and immediate extraction at low temperatures to proper filtration, carefully controlled storage, and bottling.
